Safety is always important. In designing the kitchen, this should not be forgotten. It is not all about the displays, equipments, design, etc. Range stoves should be inspected, the flooring should not be that smooth in order to avoid accidents. Hooks should be secured and mounted properly to avoid the tools from falling. If possible, a fire extinguisher should be placed near the kitchen area in case the stove or oven malfunctions. Faucets should also be inspected to see if there is any leak. Garbage cans/bags should also be present in the kitchen so that waste segregation will be observed. Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen can prevent accidents and illnesses caused by dirty food or utensils.
